**Read the Targets for all spells, some work only against a single enemy, others work against a group of a certain enemy, while other spells work against all enemies in battle**

Spell Character Level MP Use Target Description
Antidote Cristo 8 2 One Ally Removes poison from one's body.
Awake Hero 17 2 All Allies Wakes up allies during battle.
Bang Mara 11 5 All Enemies Small explosion attack, about 20 HP damage.
Barrier Nara 29 6 All Allies Protect from fire and snow storms.
Beat Cristo 18 4 One Enemy Kills enemy instantly, does not always work though.
Bedragon Mara 30 18 Chanter User of this spell becomes a dragon until either enemy is defeated, or spell is nullified by enemy. Usually only the bosses can nullify this spell, but they are the best to use it on.
Bikill Brey 19 6 One Ally Doubles Attack Power of one ally.
Blaze Hero/Mara 3/1 2 One Enemy Small fireball attack, about 20 HP damage.
Blazemore Mara 19 4 One Enemy Large fireball attack, about 80 HP damage.
Blazemost Mara 33 10 One Enemy Huge fireball attack, about 180 HP damage.
Blizzard Brey 32 11 Enemy Group Sends a blizzard like attack toward enemy group.
Boom Hero/Mara 23/23 8 All Enemies Big explosion attack, about 60 HP damage.
Bounce Brey 8 4 Chanter Reflects spells, their effect goes right back unto the enemy chanting it.
Chance Hero 39 20 Random Random, unpredictable effects.
Chaos Brey 30 5 One Enemy Confuses enemy, makes it attack other enemies.
Day-Night Brey 17 12 - Changes day into night, and night into day.
Defeat Cristo 24 7 Enemy Group Kills enemies instantly, but does not always work.
Defense Brey 21 4 Enemy Group Lowers enemies defense points.
Expel Hero 1 3 Enemy Group Sends enemies away, but you get no Gold or Exp.
Explodet Mara 36 15 All Enemies Huge explosion, can cause up to 180 HP damage.
Farewell Nara 35 0 All Allies Sacrifice caster to revive and/or heal all team members to max HP.
Fendspell Hero 19 2 One Ally Stop spells both ways
Fireball Hero/Mara 9/7 4 Enemy Group Attack w/ balls of fire, similar to the "hurt" spell from Dragon Warrior. Gives about 15 - 20 HP damage.
Firebane Mara 14 6 Enemy Group More intense than Fireball, about 40 HP damage.
Firevolt Mara 27 10 Enemy Group Scorching flames, up to 100 HP damage.
Heal Nara/Cristo 1/1 3 One Ally Restore 30-40 HP.
Healall  Hero/Nara/Cristo 27/26/27 7 One Ally Restore HP to max.
Healmore Hero/Nara/Cristo 5/13/16 5 One Ally Restore about 85 HP.
Healus Cristo 30 18 All Allies Restore about 85 HP to all allies.
Healusall Hero 32 36 All Allies Restore allies HP to max.
Icebolt Brey 1 2 One Enemy Attack with bolts of ice, about 30 HP damage.
Icespears Brey 27 8 All Enemies Hits all enemies with spears of ice. About 70 HP damage.
Increase Cristo 14 4 All Allies Increase defense power.
Infermore Nara 23 4 Enemy Group Attacks enemies with large vacuum, causes about 40 HP damage
Infermost Nara 32 8 Enemy Group Attacks enemies with huge vacuum, causes about 100 HP damage
Infernos Nara 8 2 Enemy Group Attacks enemies with vacuum, causes about
15 - 25 HP damage
Ironize Hero 21 2 All Allies Defense purposes, cannot be harmed, but cannot attack either.
Lightning Hero 34 15 All Enemies Huge bolt of lightning, can cause up to 200 HP damage.
Numboff Nara 10 2 All Allies Remove numbness.
Outside Hero/Mara/Brey 13/9/7 8 All Allies Will transport group outside of a cave or tower.
Repel Hero 11 8 All Allies Keeps weaker enemies at bay for a short time while your party travels.
Return Hero/Mara/Brey 7/8/9 8 All Allies Go to any castle or town you have already been to. (with the exception of some very small towns)
Revive Cristo 33 20 One Ally Always brings back an ally, and restores HP to max.
Robmagic Mara/Brey 16/25 0 One Enemy Steals MP from enemies.
Sacrifice Enemy 1 1 All Allies Defeats all enemies, but the caster of the spell dies as well.
Sap Mara/Brey 3/3 3 One Enemy Lowers defense power of enemy.
Sleep Nara 5 3 Enemy Group Put enemies to sleep.
Sleepmore Hero/Nara 15/16 3 Enemy Group More powerful sleep spell.
Snowstorm Brey 11 5 Enemy Group Severe snowstorm causing up to 100 HP damage.
Speedup Brey 14 3 All Allies Raises agility.
Stepguard Mara 21 2 All Allies Prevents damage from barriers and swamps.
Stopspell Cristo 12 3 Enemy Group Blocks enemy spells.
Surround Cristo 6 4 Enemy Group Surrounds enemies with fog making it hard for them to attack you.
Thordain Hero 37 15 One Enemy Lightning attack, all party members must have 15 MP to contribute to the spell for it to work.
Transform Hero 30 5 Caster Change caster to a different form.
Upper Cristo 4 3 One Ally Increase Defense.
Vivify Hero/Nara/Cristo 28/20/21 12 One Ally Has a 50% chance to revive ally, so does not always work.
X-Ray Brey 23 3 Treasure Chest Allows you to see if the chest has treasure or an enemy. Glows red for enemies.
Zap Hero 25 4 One Enemy Lightning Bolt attack, up to 80 HP damage.
