**Read the Targets for all spells, some work only against a single enemy, others work against a group of a certain enemy, while other spells work against all enemies in battle**
 

Spell Character Level MP Use Target Description
Antidote Pilgrim 11 3 One Ally Removes poison from one's body.
Awake Pilgrim 16 3 One Ally Wakes up ally during battle.
Bang Hero/Wizard 11/13 5 All Enemies Small explosion attack, about 20 HP damage.
Barrier Pilgrim 32 6 All Allies Protects against fire.
Beat Pilgrim 22 7 One Enemy Kills enemy instantly, does not always work though.
BeDragon Wizard 34 24 Chanter User of this spell becomes a dragon until either enemy is defeated, or spell is nullified by enemy. Usually only the bosses can nullify this spell, but they are the best to use it on.
Bikill Wizard 21 6 One Ally Raises Attack Power of one ally.
Blaze Hero/Wizard 2/1 2 One Enemy Small fireball attack, about 20 HP damage.
Blazemore Wizard 17 6 One Enemy Large fireball attack, about 80 HP damage.
Blazemost Wizard 36 12 One Enemy Huge fireball attack, about 180 HP damage.
Boom Wizard 23 9 All Enemies Big explosion attack, about 60 HP damage.
Bounce Wizard 24 8 Chanter Reflects spells, their effect goes right back unto the enemy chanting it.
Chance Wizard 40 20 Random Random, unpredictable effects. Click Here for all possible effects this spell can have in battle.
Chaos Wizard 27 5 One Enemy Confuses enemy, makes it attack other enemies.
Curseoff Wizard 30 18 One Ally Removes a curse.
Day-Night Wizard 25 12 - Changes day into night, and night into day.
Defeat Pilgrim 28 7 Enemy Group Kills enemies instantly, but does not always work.
Defense Pilgrim 18 4 All Enemies Lowers enemies defense points.
Expel Hero/Pilgrim 6/2 2 Enemy Group Sends enemies away, but you get no Gold or Exp.
Explodet Wizard 38 18 All Enemies Huge explosion, can cause up to 180 HP damage.
Fireball Hero/Wizard 10/7 4 Enemy Group Attack w/ balls of fire, similar to the "hurt" spell from Dragon Warrior. Gives about 15 - 20 HP damage.
Firebane Hero/Wizard 23/14 6 Enemy Group More intense than Fireball, about 40 HP damage.
Firevolt Wizard 29 12 Enemy Group Scorching flames, up to 100 HP damage.
Heal Hero/Pilgrim 4/1 3 One Ally Restores some HP, about 20 to 30.
Healall Hero/Pilgrim 33/30 7 One Ally Restores all HP to maximum.
Healmore Hero/Pilgrim 29/14 5 One Ally Restores more HP than heal, about 40 to 50 HP.
Healus Pilgrim 34 18 All Allies Like healmore, but for the whole party at one time. Restores up to 50 HP.
Healusall Hero 38 62 All Allies Restores all HP for all allies.
Icebolt Wizard 5 3 One Enemey Attack with bolts of ice, about 30 HP damage.
Icespears Wizard 32 9 All Enemies Hits all enemies with spears of ice. About 70 HP damage.
Increase Pilgrim/Wizard 9/10 4 All Allies Increase defense power.
Infermore Pilgrim 26 6 Enemy Group Attacks enemies with large vacuum, causes about 40 HP damage
Infermost Pilgrim 39 9 Enemy Group Attacks enemies with huge vacuum, causes about 100 HP damage
Infernos Pilgrim 12 4 Enemy Group Attacks enemies with vacuum, causes about
15 - 25 HP damage
Invisible Wizard 33 15 All Allies Makes group invisible to others.
Ironize Hero 12 6 All Allies Defense purposes, cannot be harmed, but cannot attack either.
Lightning Hero 41 30 All Enemies Huge bolt of lightning, can cause up to 200 HP damage.
Limbo Pilgrim 20 7 One Enemy Sends one enemy away, but you get no gold or exp.
Numboff Pilgrim 15 6 One Ally Removes numbness.
Open Wizard 35 0 One Door Open doors without needing a key.
Outside Hero/Wizard 14/9 8 All Allies Will transport group outside of a cave or tower.
Repel Hero 19 4 All Allies Keeps weaker enemies at bay for a short time while your party travels.
Return Hero/Wizard 12/7 8 All Allies Go to any castle or town you have already been to. (with the exception of some very small towns)
Revive Pilgrim 38 20 One Ally Revives a dead party member.
Robmagic Wizard 15 0 One Enemy Steals MP from enemies.
Sacrifice Pilgrim 41 1 All Enemies Defeats all enemies, but the caster of the spell dies as well.
Sap Pilgrim 8 3 One Enemy Lowers defense power of enemy.
Sleep Hero/Pilgrim 16/9 3 Enemy Group Puts enemies to sleep.
Slow Wizard 12 3 Enemy Group Lowers agility.
Snowblast Wizard 20 6 Enemy Group Blast of snow causing up to 50 HP damage.
Snowstorm Wizard 26 12 Enemy Group Severe snowstorm causing up to 100 HP damage.
Speedup Pilgrim 5 3 All Allies Raises agility.
Stepguard Wizard 19 12 All Allies Prevents damage from barriers and swamps.
Stopspell Hero/Pilgrim 18/13 3 Enemy Group Blocks enemy spells.
Surround Pilgrim 7 4 Enemy Group Surrounds enemies with fog making it hard for them to attack you.
Transform Wizard 31 12 Chanter Takes form of an ally.
Upper Pilgrim 4 3 One Ally Increases defense power.
Vivify Hero/Pilgrim 35/24 10 One Ally Has a 50% chance to revive ally, so does not always work.
X-Ray Wizard 18 3 Treasure Chest Allows you to see if the chest has treasure or an enemy. Glows red for enemies.
Zap Hero 26 8 One Enemy Lightning Bolt attack, up to 80 HP damage.
