Iron Shield	Hero, Soldiers, and Merchants	700	525	12	Sold in Kanave, Assaram, and Isis	This shield will serve you well during most of your quest.
Leather Shield	Hero, Soldiers, Pilgrims, Sages, Merchants, and Goof-Offs	90	67	4	Sold in Aliahan and Reeve	Inexpensive, it is still a good buy early on in the game
Shield of Heroes	Hero	-	-	50	Found in the cave northwest of Tantegel	The strongest shield, and it is one your hero needs to defeat Zoma.
Shield of Sorrow	Hero and Soldiers	-	7	35	Occasionally Lionheads may leave this item behind	Cursed shield. It will damage other allies when the wearer gets attacked.
Shield of Strength	Hero and Soldiers	15,000	11,250	40	Sold in Hauksness	Use as an item in battle for healmore effect on person who is carrying it. Does not need to be equipped to use in battle.
Silver Shield	Hero, Soldiers, Pilgrims, and Sages	8,800	6,600	30	Sold in Samanao, Kol, and Rimuldar	Not worth a King's ransom in Dragon Warrior 3, however the Silver Shield is still one of the best defensive-wise.
