We do hereby accept your petition to follow in the footsteps of your brave father. Thy enemy shall be the Archfiend Baramos. The name of the Archfiend Baramos is yet unknown in the world of men. If things remain unchanged, before long the world will be destroyed by the Archfiend. Baramos must be defeated.

With the blessing of the King of Aliahan, you will now start on a journey that your father could not finish. You are Ortega's 16 year old son, you are of the same blood of a great and noble hero, you are the only one who can save the world from the evil wrath of the Archfiend Baramos. Your mission is to lead an army into the Archfiend's domain and destroy everything in sight. It will take a certain kind of hero to complete this quest, it will take a true chosen warrior to conquer Baramos and his minions, it will take a true Dragon Warrior...................

Released in 1991 by Enix, Dragon Warrior 3 is
not only the best game of this role playing series, it is the best role playing game ever for the NES, and quite possibly the SNES. This game is far more advanced than the groundbreaking Dragon Warrior 2. In Dragon Warrior 3 you now have three companions, instead of two. This time you not only choose their names, but also which class of character they shall be. You can select the strongest Soldier, the brightest Wizard. and even the most noble Pilgrim to join your army.

Dragon Warrior 3 has 140 different enemies you must face, as well as nearly 70 different places to visit. That number is based on a combination of castles, towns, towers, shrines, and even other ships. With all of the enemies to fight, all of the places to visit, and all of the training your army will need to get strong, you can count on a long, but very exciting journey waiting ahead for you.
